  1. Do you, sir? Do you know where you Walrus is?

    "The time has come,"
    "To talk of many things:
    Of Fannie-Mae—and Freddie-Mac—
    Of AIG—and kings—
And why the sea is boiling hot—
    And whether pigs have wings.

  2. So, uh, was that one of those meme questions.

    Did I win anything?

  3. Hmm... If I may, sir. I don't believe the gentleman "won" anything. That's not how those things work. And...er...I don't think this was intended as a blogger meme, sir. Besides the gentleman was not "tagged."

Blog memes are mostly popular with the LiveJournal - Xanga - MySpace crowd. It's kind of a cool way, those days, for kids to tell the world how cool, unique and special they are. . . and stuff, sir.
    e.g.:
This, is the story of you
What makes you special, where you come from
This is one of the most exciting stories ever told
    Because its about you
And you are one of the most important things in the world . . . you

Present company excluded, of course, sir. The gentleman understands that I didn't mean to imply anything of a derogatory nature or to belittle blog memes in any way. They do serve their purpose. And some of them can be quite interesting. Besides, they are very popular, and so, there must be a need for them. Plenty of the "serious blogger" set do enjoy a good blog meme too.

  5. Ah, where are my manners. I am getting derelict in my duties. Thank you so very much, Lady F, for the kind offer. I would have had a Guinness, but, as you know, today is Lady PJ's birthday, and I promised that I'd make an effort and try one of those Chocolate Martinis that the gentlelady recommended.
