One can but wonder . . .

-

. . . where does all the crazy talk get started?

I wonder...

...sounds like a chapter of The Da Vinci Code...

  2. I actually watch Fox sometimes. I didn't until recently because in the past whenever I looked in some severe over the top craziness would be occurring. Such as a "special" hour long show that blond headed guy, whose name I've obviously forgotten, but who used to be on all the time, offered one evening rebutting evolution, claiming the Earth is 6,000 years old, etc.

Now I watch since they are very quick on promulgating the latest outrage. And if you want to know what the focus of the country will be on, in our Congress, popular culture, left and right media, etc., they're the place to go. And that focus, let's not forget, lasts only over the 24/7 news cycle. And each and every day there is an emergency, a total failure or victory for one aspect of our government, usually Obama. Who can be criticized for cutting his fingernails too short. And the weight of said implies the failure or success of his administration. Are there no calm heads? Or is our great filter, the MSM, so thick that we can not see what is actually going on? And time is nothing we don't have enough of. For, the sad fact is, we do face enormous life and death problems today. But none can be fixed within the news cycle, 24/7.

What would P. T. Barnum do today? Would he be another Karl Rove? Would he be on TV opposite Rachel Maddow? Would he be laughing with glee at the craziness of it all?
