In Case You Missed It

Her name is Polly Boiko...

And she is a hoot!

This is the kind of stuff that the Rachel Maddow of old used to do—before she sold out and morphed into the Glenn Beck of MSNBC.

It is also the kind of stuff SNL used to do back in the days, when they did not carry water for the man and had not sacrificed their soul on the altar of Political Correctness.

DISCLAIMER:

- RT is "funded in whole or in part by the Russian government."
- And MSNBC is owned by Corporate Media.

Now you know...

When questioned about the ads, Anna Belkina, the director of strategic development and head of communications at RT, said that "President Putin personally approved" the copy in the ads.

When asked if that was a joke, she responded that "Russians are not allowed to joke about Putin."

Sarcasm is lost on some people:

Thank goodness, The Onion still got it:

DNC Files Lawsuit Alleging Nation Should Never, Ever Stop Focusing On 2016 Election:

"WASHINGTON—Demanding greater accountability for the race’s outcome, the Democratic National Committee reportedly filed a multimillion-dollar lawsuit Friday alleging that the nation should never, ever stop focusing on the 2016 presidential election. “Our lawsuit lays out, in no uncertain terms, that the nation should never under any circumstances move on from the 2016 election results,” said DNC chairman Tom Perez, adding that the 66-page lawsuit filed in a New York federal court asserts that the American people must remain solely preoccupied with every little goddamn detail from the 2016 presidential race. “We’re calling on WikiLeaks, Russia, and Trump campaign officials to join the Democratic Party in our efforts to spend the next several years prioritizing endless fucking discussions about potential election interference and what that means for democracy. We believe there was a deliberate effort to throw the race to Donald Trump, and that the American people have a right to publicly re-litigate Hillary Clinton’s defeat and promote far-reaching conspiracy theories instead of concentrating on anything remotely politically constructive for the next few decades at least.” At press time, DNC officials were calling for an emergency legal injunction to block the nation from learning absolutely anything from the 2016 election."

  2. "After the 2016 election, it became clear just how successfully trolls and foreign enemies have been using the internet to undermine the democratic process. Unfortunately, technological advancements are guaranteeing that the problem’s only going to get worse before it gets any better. Want proof? This disturbing video of George W. Bush and John Kerry singing 'This Land Is Your Land' shows just how easy it is to use digital facial mapping tools to fake anyone doing anything."

"Yikes. This is terrifying. Technology this seamless could be unfathomably dangerous in the wrong hands. If we didn’t know any better, we would have been totally convinced George W. Bush actually rode a nuclear missile or that John Kerry cut open Bush’s head and put a brain in there.

The rapid spread of misinformation online is a serious issue that our leaders have yet to address effectively. If action isn’t taken soon, falsified videos like this may be enough to sway entire elections, or worse. All we can do now is learn to recognize signs that what we’re watching isn’t the truth and hope that millions of American voters learn to do so as well. Our democracy depends on it."
